Are you feeling overwhelmed with where to begin on your ‘Wellness’ journey? Are you aware of changes you need to make but aren’t sure what to focus on and what to prioritize?
Many of us have health challenges that could be improved by diet and lifestyle changes.
The list is endless.
Diet and lifestyle are foundational elements to health and wellness. They are the brick and mortar on which all therapies stand.
Health and wellness consists of the food we are eating, our perception of stress, balanced hormones, positive relationships, gratitude, water intake, movement, and much more. Wellness is definitely an ongoing journey. I always say, “The more I learn, the more I realize that I don’t know.” But that does not need to paralyze us from continuing to move forward in pursuing health!
So why don’t we pursue health more intentionally?
If we change just one lifestyle habit, instead of powering through a traditional ‘deprivation diet’, the long-term weight loss impact may be greater as we focus on small permanent changes.
There are two ways to pursue health:
#1. Self-motivate and muscle your way through blood, sweat, tears, deprivation, and fights against failure and self-sabotage.
#2. Slowly work on your tastes, interests, and mindset, and start being attracted to healthy things. Over time you will find yourself craving nourishing foods and healthy activities!
Obviously #2 is the key to long-term success!
You are not alone in your wellness journey and you do not need to figure it out on your own! We personally have found continued healing due to participating in a group coaching program and having the additional support from others!
This is the reason we love to lead this group program: “Embrace Your Wellness Journey”
