Julia has been helping clients manage chronic pain, recover from injuries, and prevent injuries since 2007. She has had the pleasure of sharing her work in a variety of settings over the past six years ranging from spas, to chiropractic clinic, to massage center, to ivy league poolside to her own private office. Combining her experiences in all of these settings, she is excited to serve a broad client base with her unique skill of combining therapies to create unique massages for each client’s unique needs.
Her passion for teaching self-care led her to develop a Foam Rolling Workshop and a Raindrop Therapy workshop. Some of her workshops and classes will be offered in our learning space. Check the schedule and register for a class because having a healthy body isn’t JUST about the work you receive on the table. It’s also about what you give your body between your massages too!
Both she and her husband John live in the Lancaster County area and share a deep love for being outdoors hiking, running, kayaking, biking and walking in the fresh air as much as possible with their two year old son and sometimes accompanied by Duke, a 15 year old Jack Russell Troublemaker.
Because of an active lifestyle, Julia loves to connect with clients who also strive to live active lives. She also has extensive experience with athletes of all levels from the weekend 5K warrior to the professional athlete.
Words cannot fully express the positive and beneficial role that [Julia Walsh] has had on my journey toward maintaining health. I have received massage therapy over the past 18 years with various therapists and Julia has by far been the most effective in not only providing exceptional deep tissue massages but also introducing me to other practices such as cupping and raindrop technique. In addition, she has a wealth of knowledge and is more than willing to explain the science behind what she is doing.
I would recommend her to anyone looking to recover from an injury, maintain health or increase their knowledge on how massage therapy can be an extremely beneficial to your overall well being.
Julia's muscular massage therapy has helped to restore my physical health post back surgery and also to relieve chronic headaches that I suffered with for years. She took the time when I first met her to assess my health and pain level. That first massage with her was life changing for me in that I knew I was in the hands of an expert in her field that had a passion to help me with my individual needs. I have had many massages with Julia since then and have gained flexibility, and quality of life through her massage and self care tips. Living with pain is not easy but It is much more tolerable after a monthly massage with Julia; she works out the tough spots and is a constant encouragement to me to keep pursuing health!
