As a holistic health coach trained in Applied Functional Medicine, Juanita is fully committed to walking this journey of achieving greater health and wellness with you. Juanita specializes in thyroid and hormone balancing and uses various lab testing through saliva and bloodwork. Essentially, no one comes with just one issue, so she also focuses on gut health, liver cleansing, blood sugar, weight, energy, and other issues. Her passion is to help people find healing so that they can live their lives abundantly.

In your "suitcase" are all the things you have experienced in your lifetime. Health coaching helps you connect the dots to find out what needs to be added to or taken away to ease the load. At Immerse one of our goals is to simplify the complexity of our bodies and teach you how to listen intuitively to what your body is telling you.

A health coach partners with a client to educate and support them in achieving their health goals through lifestyle adjustments. Coaching cultivates a close partnership that provides structure, accountability, expertise and motivation. It includes educating you on what may be causing the symptoms you are experiencing. While addressing the root cause, we will empower you to make lifestyle adjustments. A health coach practices a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that we take a look at all areas of your life and how they are interconnected.

Are you experiencing increased stress at your job or in your relationships that is causing you to make poor food choices? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? Is there a subconscious lie that you are believing to be a truth that is preventing you from experiencing emotional freedom? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole. Our approach is not to focus on pounds and calories, lists of restrictions, or elimination diets. We focus on the concept of bio-individuality, which is that each person has unique food and lifestyle needs. One size does not fit all and we customize the coaching program to fit you and the goals that you are setting.

As a client of our health coaching program, together we will…
  • lay out the puzzle pieces of what you are currently experiencing and what you would like to be experiencing
  • create a wellness plan for transformation
  • explore the underlying root causes of what may be inhibiting wellness
  • decipher your body's unique needs and choose food and lifestyle practices to fuel your body, mind, and spirit
  • teach you to be in tune with your body and learn to interpret the messages it gives you
  • establish your personal goals and conquer them in a reasonable and achievable timeline
Coaching begins with an initial assessment that is free of charge. Once the coaching relationship is established, it is highly recommended that we continue to work together for a minimum of three months. Coaching is not advice, therapy or counseling. The services provided by the coach to the client are in-person, via Zoom, or phone call, as designed jointly with the client. All sessions are strictly confidential.

  • a free 15 minute Discovery Call to review your health challenges and goals
  • 90 minute session (in-person or via Zoom) to review extensive health history and lab work, complete a Zyto scan, and develop a plan of action
  • (6) 60 minute sessions (in-person, via Zoom or phone call), preferably for a minimum of 3 months
  • personalized follow-up notes and goals to work on between sessions
